Year 5
To start off our Internet Safety Day we looked at the word “harm” and found different words in a word search that related to this. We then chatted about how we may see these words online and how they might relate to what children do online.
We then looked at online conversations that show different scenarios relating to harm. We investigated why it might be harmful, who it harmful for and thinking about what should have happened.
We then had a go at our own. We used the examples we had looked at to then think of another conversation online that could be classed as harmful behaviour. We explained what was happening in our scenario and how this would be harmful to who was involved.
