Real Life

In our shape unit, we looked at complete symmetric figures. We created our own assessment style questions for other people in our class to answer. 

“For our patterns - we use our mirror line in the centre and count squares to complete the pattern” - AO

 

”We find where the angles are first and then draw the lines” - AA

We all went to a different classroom to ask our topic question to create our data.

“We first asked the question to the class and then told them the answers and that they could only vote for one of the options” - TR

 

”We counted the hands of the children which had voted for that answer and then put this into our tally chart” - HJ

We became the teacher when adding fractions and mixed numbers. 

“I start by just adding the fractions first. If my answer is an improper fraction I then convert this to a mixed number to help with my working working out” - Thomas
 

“I then add the whole numbers from the start of our calculation to the mixed number I have no created to get my answer” - Maryam
