NSPCC Visit with Year 5 and 6

Today Year 5 and Year 6 welcomed the NSPCC into school to deliver a workshop on speaking out and staying safe.

We discussed certain types of abuse including domestic, emotional and physical.

We recalled the Childline helpline – 0800 1111

The children also learnt about neglect and different types of bullying.

We also discussed a range of situations which we would be ok sometimes, never or always.

"I learnt how to keep safe online and I know I can speak to Childline if I am uncomfortable."

"I now know the Childline number off by heart!"
