Knitting

Knitting Club runs after school each Tuesday evening.

A group of children from Y4, Y5 and Y6 are learning the skill of knitting as well as helping our local community.  Knitting is a valuable skill which will enable the children to create their own items even into adulthood.

Items we have or are currently knitting include:

For our Christmas and Summer School Markets

  • Lavendar bags
  • Small decorated bags
  • Animal calming buddies
  • Teddy Bear glove puppets
  • Snowmen
  • Father Christmas
  • Bells
  • Cottage pockets
  • Christmas trees
  • Mini stockings

     For dementia patients:

  • 'Twiddle Muff'  - donated to Broughton Parish Warm Welcome Space
  • 'Twiddle Blanket - knit as individual squares' - children working together to create a finished blanket complete with decorations

For the premature baby unit - donated to BabyBeat:
