Independence
Year 1 have been looking at rhyming words in the The Sound Collector. They each had a word and had to independently find their partner who had the correct rhyming card.
Year 1 have enjoyed practising their phonics independently. They used the board game to practise the red, green and alien words.
Year 1 became ‘ing’ word detectives. We had to independently find the ‘ing’ words in the poem. We then wrote our own sentences using ‘ing’.
