Reading
What the Ladybird Heard
After reading ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ the children painted ladybirds. They are creating closed shapes and are beginning to add detail.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
After reading the Very Hungry Caterpillar the children printed patterns and folded paper to create symmetry when making butterflies.
The Colour Monster
Nursery children have read the Colour Monster and then drawn their own colour monster to show a feeling.

After reading Elmer in the Snow the children used chalk to do enclosed shapes and create their own Elmer.
