Flour making

The Egyptians were able to use the wheat that they had grown to make flour and beer. They had to grind the wheat down using a rock grinder and turn it into flower. The flower was placed into a sieve and the what put back into the grinder.

Egyptian farming- How the River Nile saved Egypt

Scarab Beetle making

We have been making Scarab Beetles using beetle moulds and clay. We inscribed our names onto the beetle using hieroglyphics in the style of Ancient Egypt. These were used for jewellery and decorative purposes.
