We did an experiment to find out which material is the best to make earmuff and which material will keep our ears warm.
We worked as a team to wrap different materials around our beaker. Miss Garda then poured 50ml of boiling water into the beakers.
We then put the beakers outside for 5 minutes to see which material will keep the water warm.
After the 5 minutes were over, we measured the temperature of the water.
We have been learning about ‘Microhabitats.’ We read a page from the Minibeast book which explained to us what microhabitats are, examples of microhabitats and which minibeast you may find.
World Habitats
We have been learning about world habitats and which animals and plants live there. We read information sheets with our partners to research the information we need to create our posters.
