Internet Safety Day - Feb 5th
Today we learned how we are influenced by people and technology, sometimes in a bad way and sometimes positively.
We learned what AI was and how it can change our lives again positively or negatively. We decided if we thought AI was good for us.
We designed posters informing others about the change that technology and the internet can have on our lives.
Online bullying
In groups, we talked through some preliminary questions prior to any teaching. We discussed what was abusive behaviour in terms of being online. What would you do if someone was being horrible to you online? How could you block abusive users?
Even though most of us do not have access to these apps we still talked through scenarios involving how to block users.
We worked together in teams in go through a flow chart to work out what to do with in online bullying situations.
