Our visit from Harold was to explain to our class all about our digestive system and how smoking and alcohol are dangerous for our organs. Harold explained about the importance of being unique. We learnt that our organs need to have the right amount of food, water, oxygen and exercise for our bodies to remain healthy. Harold and Susan told us that smoking may make our organs slow down and not work properly and as our bodies are still developing it is important that we take care of it. Alcohol again is for grown ups as it can make our liver poorly. The liver is important as cleans our blood and helps to keep us healthy. Being unique means that we are all different and that is important too as it would be so boring if we were all the same.
We are identifying the organs in our body with Susan.
