Real Life

Moving into the Autumn term the children have been reading a range of Free Verse poetry. 

We have studied the poems looking specifically at the vocabulary used, the layout and poetic features. These included similes, metaphors, repetition, personification and onomatopoeia. 

The children have identified these features as well as using them (plus vocabulary linked to Remembrance and war) to plan and write their own poems. Please have a read.
