Year Two
The Online Safety theme we were focusing on is - Self Image and Identity.
During this we learnt about how other people may look different online and why they might choose different pictures online to what they actually look like in real life. We also discussed ‘How we should behave online.’
How should you behave online?
- ‘Be kind to other people’ - Bhuvan

- ‘Treat someone the way you want to be treated’ - Millie
We also learnt about ‘What is an avatar’ and what it can be used for.
- ‘A picture to show who you are’ - SJ
- ‘Someone to pretend that they are someone else’ - Jaxon
- ‘It might not look like the actual person’ - Heidi
- ‘The person behind the screen can be older or younger then you’ - Conor
We then created our own avatar making sure it looked similar to us. We then had to guess who’s who and try and match each of our friend to their avatar.
