Year 2

We kicked started National Numeracy Day by watching a special live lesson focusing on how maths is used in space.

We joined in to a dance routine with Numberblock 1 and had a lot of fun.

As part of the live lesson, we learnt about hoe they use maths in science.

- ‘They use maths to calculate the distance between the stars and the planets.’ - Ali

- ‘They use maths to set the rocket into space.’ - Joel

- ‘Different types of maths is used to launch rockets and they have to do a lot of calculations.’ - Jaxon

We also witnessed Numberblock 10 launch off into space.

Part of National Numeracy Day we played Times Table Bingo.
