Choice
Every week, the children are given an opportunity to go to the school library and take a book home to read. They really enjoy looking at the variety of books available to them and experiencing new and exciting books.
We have been reading ‘The Sound Collector’. The children write their own poem based on the sounds that they would hear at the seaside. They really enjoyed writing their own poems and choosing their own sounds.
