World Book Day 2025

To kick start World Book Day, we had a teacher swap and Mr Barr came to read us a story called ‘Horrid Henry Robs the Bank.’

We then watched a live ‘Footy and Booky World Book Day Event.’ This was a quiz that featured two rounds of questions (one football-themed, one reading-themed) pitched by our footballing heroes and authors.

To celebrate World Book Day we also came dressed up as a character from a book.

Part of our English work, each of us learnt a new word along with its definition and how we can use that word in a sentence. Here are some examples of the words we learnt.
