Week 13 - English
We worked together in partners to ‘unpick’ the features on newspaper reports. We used our weekly copy of First News to choose and analyse articles.
Week 8 - Music
Here is an example of a group composition. We worked together, taking in the roles of conductor, bass, melody and percussion to create pieces inspired by fireworks.
Week 6 - PE hockey
Today we introduced the vocabulary of tactics. We discussed what it meant and how we could use these strategies to support our invasion game playing. In our house teams we created formations, plans of attack and discussed which opponents we would be marking up against. We then played round 1 of our 7-a-side tournament.
Week 2 - PE Hockey
We've been working on helping each other to improve our dribbling. We supportively remind each other of the success criteria about how to hold the stick and to use bent knees.
