The Bible
During this unit of work we have looked at the importance of the Bible. We learnt about a little girl called Mary Jones. Mary only wanted her own Bible. She saved and worked for 9 years to get enough money to buy her own Bible. She walked 25miles in bare feet to buy her own Bible. We talked about her determination. (SS)
We learnt about the Dead Sea Scrolls and about the goat herder who needed courage from God to enter a cave. We then wrote about the goat herder. (FB)
We looked at characters in the Bible and decided what their strengths were and who gave them their strength. We then found our own Bible character and identified their strengths.
