Independence
Ahead of our school trip to Martin Mere, we studied the map to look at the different things we will see on the day. We used this as part of our 4 figure grid reference lesson. As we found different features of Martin Mere, we wrote down the 4 figure grid reference for it.
“We write down the x axis 2 digit number first and then y axis 2 digit number” - YA
”We look above the x line and the y line” - MK
Year 4 investigated the different biomes around the world. We then used a key to independently locate these biomes on a world map using colour.
