Year 1-We evaluated existing Christmas cards. We talked about what we like and don't like.
Year 1
We independently cut up the fruit with a knife.
Year 2-
Year 3- We have been independently designing a pizza for Mother’s Day and then slicing, dicing and mixing the ingredients to go on top.
Year 4- This unit of learning used some of our recently acquired scientific knowledge on circuits. We worked through the process of analysing, designing, making prototypes and finally making our own product.
Year 5-
Year 6-
The children in year 6 have designed and made their own pizzas. we focused on healthy options and presentation as well. We used the internet to find how much each pizza would cost to make too.
The year 6 children have been looking at levers and linkages. We have created cards for when we leave at the end of this year for a member of staff that has taught us. The children chose who to make a card for independently created them. Here is our design process.
Year 6 have been independently creating a pattern piece for their bear T-shirt.
