History - compare modern and ancient Olympics. The pupils worked together in research groups to use our non-fiction texts, artefacts of pictures on vases and selected sources on the internet. Using the research pupils then presented their knowledge.
English - Classical Poetry. We wrote our own classical poems using nonsense vocabulary as in The Jabberwocky by mixing two adjectives or two verbs together. We learnt what a stanza was and also learned about rhyming couplets.
Science revision - Know the name and function of teeth.
We used our existing knowledge from Spring 2 to shape, place and describe the function of human teeth. We used marshmallows or fondant to create teeth.
