The children have used choice when creating their own Christmas themed art pictures including specific vocabulary and techniques within them. 

For example - The children had to show they understood the vocabulary: 

Poised, graduate, inanimate and diffused when creating their scenes. 

The children have chosen which vocabulary to use when writing stories. The stories we have written are based on two thieves trying to steal a jewel from a train. 

The story is titled Ruckus and the children have made conscious choices when deciding on language and grammatical terms.
