In our Friday's maths lessons, we are going to become a bit more active. As we need to know lots of different times tables in Year 3, we have decided the fun way to learn them would be through physical activity. This was our first time seeing how we are going to do this and we had a lot of fun!
In our music, we are continuing to learn the lyrics to Under the Sea. We are also learning to play the notes to the first chorus on the glockenspiels.
Here are a few videos of us rehearsing the first section of the chorus. We also had a go at how it sounds when it is played on the keyboard.
Our final pieces of art showed how we had used the work of David Miller to show a real life under water scene.
We created real life features and made sure our painting showed perspective.
In our DT unit - creating our fish kites, we have now started to construct our kites following our plans and criterias we had planned previously.
We have had chance to use the saw for the first time. We had to be careful using this and Miss Smith helped us as it was very tough.
In our second session of Hockey - we continued practising our push passes but also added in passing the ball and moving and also massing the ball through a target to practise where we were aiming the ball.
Here are some pictures and videos to show us practising during session 2.
