Did all evacuees have a positive experience of evacuation?
In year 5 we had a role card each. We had to read the name of our persona and the detailed information about their evacuation experience. We shared this information with the rest of the class and then decided if the experience was positive or negative. These details were taken from historically accurate reports therefore we could make a generalisation about how children felt during the WW2 evacuations.
