Explore
The children worked in groups to explore their own line of enquiry relating to magnets. Each group was to decide what question they wanted to explore and then develop and complete their own experiment to answer their enquiry. One person from each team led the experiment.
'I liked being able to choose my own question to investigate and being able to practically do the experiment to see if it actually worked,' Archie R.
'I enjoyed choosing what objects we tested with our magnets and what experiment we did,' Mohammed.
The children have been exploring different Chinese artefacts and predicted their uses. The children then researched to see if their predictions were correct and found out facts about their artefacts.
