Year 3

On the 11th of February 2025 we celebrated Online Safety Day! 
 

This years theme is Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online. 

We began by watching a Safer Internet Day Live Lesson. Through this lesson we stepped into the virtual world of Scam Smashers! 
 

During this live lesson, we learnt how to outsmart digital tricksters to protect our personal information.

- “Buy things online” 

- Send messages” 

- Use it to help with my homework” 

This years theme is based on ‘Scams,’ during the live lesson and throughout online safety day we learnt that a scam is a way of tricking people into handing over money or personal information. Plus, this can be done either online or offline.
