In Year 6 we have looked at how to stay safe online. We recognised some of the potential dangers online including people getting in touch with you that you may not know and people pretending to be someone else online.
"People can find other people online who they might not know."
"People might be older or different to what their profile."
We looked at social media and the impact it can have on us and what is the legal age for social media accounts.
"Instagram can call you on Instagram so it should be higher than that." Adam.
"It surprises me that WhatsApp age is higher than Instagram or Twitter." Jess.
"I think Facebook is a little low (the age) but it should be for people older than 13 years." Scarlett.
"There could be fake accounts on some of these so people need to be careful."
