Independence
We recently had a visit from the charity ‘Heartbeat’. Children were looking at the functions of the heart and he lungs and were able to independently share their knowledge at the end of the session.
“My heart is the same size as my fist”
”My heart beats around 100,000 times a day, but if I don’t look after it, it will slow down.”
”The heart pumps oxygenated blood through the arteries and the deoxygenated blood through the veins.”
Year 3 have been composing their own music and recording this using stave and clef dot notation. Children have been practicing their song and acting upon feedback from other members of the class.
