Independence

In Year 2 We learnt about the features of an instruction text. We worked independently to annotate the key features and wrote why that feature is important.

In Year 2 we learnt about imperative verbs, and used them to create our own sentences.

Within Year 6 we have looked at a range of free verse poetry and their features.

We have read a number of poems, discussed the language and vocabulary used before planning and writing our own free verse poetry linked to Remembrance.
