Autumn 1 - History
To look at time periods and pharaohs within Ancient Egyptians, we used toilet roll as our time line. In groups, we all got given a different dynasty from with the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom or the New Kingdom. We then found who ruled as pharaoh during this time. We had to put the earliest pharaoh first for the toilet roll to be I. The correct order. Once we completed our dynasty on our toilet roll, we wrote up our key vocab and what we did into our books.
Autumn 1 - Maths
To finish off our Place Value unit in Maths, we worked in either twos or threes to create different 5 or 6 digit numbers. We then worked together to round these numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10 000 and 100 000.
Autumn 1 - PE
At the beginning of our invasion games unit, we got straight into defending. We worked in 3s to start with with one defending getting in the middle of 2 attackers to get the interception before moving onto bigger groups of 6s. We had 4 attackers around the outside with 2 defenders in the middle either defending the pass or defending the space.
