Choice
The children have been getting used to their new space and choosing where they would like to play and learn.
The children have been choosing books to read in the Reading Area. Myles is reading The Little Red Hen to Poppy. He was using different voices for the characters. Great work.
The girls are enjoying some of the other books from the Reading Area.
In Maths this week we have been learning to sort according to different criteria. The children were given a choice of how to sort.
For our calendars the children were creating a portrait in the style of Picasso. They had the choice of which colour pastels they were going to use.
I chose lots of bright colours.
I like this red so that’s why I am using it.
