Sport and PE

Year 6 attended UCLAN Sports Arena on Tuesday 16th May 2023 to play sports in mixed teams.
The children took part in cricket, rounders and football playing with and against one another.
It was a fantastic day and the children competed brilliantly.

Friday 8th April, year 5 and year 6 got themselves into their house colours so have some friendly but competitive games of rounders. Year 6 have been playing rounders in their PE lessons but year 5 hadn’t really played before. Year 6 did a great job coaching the year 5’s, sorting out their teams in positions and all children showed fantastic sportsmanship throughout the competition. Blues came away as overall winners.

Year 5 and 6 took part in some racing this afternoon. The children worked in teams during the relay race and were also independent when running in other races too. Have a look below.
