Observing and creating paintings of daffodils.
Year 1
We went on a walk to find a leaf. We looked at the leaf closely and then did an observational drawing of the leaf. We then did a leaf rubbing.
Year 3
Year 3 have been looking at the work of Antony Gormley. We have been researching the materials Antony has used to create his sculptures and looking at the form of each sculpture. We had to think carefully about the size of some body parts in comparison to others. Children had to measure their hands and feet to work out which should be bigger on their sculpture.
Year 6
We have been looking at real life patterns and fabric. We have designed our own fabric ideas and tested a range of media on these to see which would work best.
This is our Pop Art work.
