The children have been given the opportunity to complete optional homework. This encouraged the children to be independent and research an area they are interested linked to our topic of China. The children are able to complete and present this homework however they wish.

Some children chose to bring in objects from home to present to the class. The children had researched about the objects, enabling them to be able to talk confidently about the objects and answer any questions. Some children cooked Chinese food and baked Chinese cakes.
