Working in Teams
Geography
We have been learning about the four countries that make up the UK. In teams, the children completed a jigsaw puzzle of the UK. They worked well together using their geography knowledge from previous lessons.
P.E.
The children worked in pairs to develop their throwing, bouncing and catching skills. We remembered our hand position ready to catch the ball and worked well with our partner encouraging one another.
Maths
The children have been learning about using greater than, less than and equal to symbols. They used their tens-frames to make number sentences and placed the correct symbol in between them.
PSHE
We have been thinking about rules that we might have at home, at school and when out and about.
R.E
This half term the children have been learning about Harvest. We have been learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot and working in teams to design and build our own Sukkahs using lego.
History
The children worked in pairs to identify similarities and differences between transport in the past and in present day. The children made lots of interesting observations.
