Science
For our Force unit, we looked at Pulleys. We discussed how these were a mechanism and allow a smaller force to have a greater effect. We found out that the more pulleys that were used, the force we had to use to pull the object as easier. We worked as teams to create our pulley systems and worked together to keep adding pulleys to it.
P.E.
Children worked in teams to gain points for their “Tennis Team”. They worked together using different shots to outwit their opponent.

As part of our Film & Play Script we are looking at the novel and script of Goodnight Mister Tom as this has been adapted to being on stage.
We have had our first go at acting out some of the script, choosing a part within our groups and following the stage directions and script.
