The children worked independently when thinking about their number bonds to 20 and their different representations. The children were thinking about their number bonds to 20 as; a bar model, part whole, and number sentences- both addition and subtraction. The children moved around the whole to add 1 of the representations to each sheet of paper. 
The children worked in dependently to match creatures to their habitats. The children had to then convince the matching habitat why it was suited to be its partner. 
The children worked independently to explore the outdoor area looking for micro-habitats. The children identified micro-habitats then looked to see what creatures were living in the micro-habitats.
