A string of paper dolls go on a fantastical adventure through the house and out into the garden. They soon escape the clutches of the toy dinosaur and the snapping jaws of the oven-glove crocodile, but then a very real pair of scissors threatens . . . This inspired us to create our own!

In ICT we have been using the IPads to access different school game apps. On the IPad we can easily access the camera, which we like to use and explore the different picture effects. We have also been using the computers in the ICT room. We are becoming more independent using the mouse and can create work to print off.
We talked about internet safety and learnt a new song with Smartie the pengiun.
In the continuous provision we have been experimenting with and using primary colors, exploring mixing colors. We have been creating non figurative paintings, drawings, printing, imprinting, and collages.
In the home corner the children discovered real food to explore. we handled tools, objects and real food safely and with increasing control. e also chose to introduce a storyline or narrative into our play.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
