PE Boot Camp

We have begun to develop skills in fitness. We have been learning how to carry out several fitness moves, Burpees, Spotty Dog, Plank and Squat Thrusts. We found it very tiring to start with, but every minute we changed our skill. Over the next few week some of our friends will be planning to teach the lesson. keep your eyes out and see how we do.

Welcome to our second session. This week we developed our skills further and two of our class friends began to build a lesson to teach us next week. Today we learnt how the skill based on posture and how to squat. We also extended our times at each base to build our fitness.

Lesson 3 of Boot Camp was planned and delivered by two children within the class. They had created  their own lesson and demonstrated the skills needed to achieve the Learning Skills. The children put together an easy option for those children who felt the new skill was too difficult. Please enjoy our pictures and our short video clip.

During week four we developed our skills further. Our friends were the instructors for both the warm up session and the main lesson. This week we learnt another new skill ' knee ups'. it was challenging as you needed to be fit and coordinated to succeed.

Most improved team member receive a certificate. The rest of the class received a participation certificate as well, in celebration of all their hard work.
