Christianity in Pakistan

We had a visit from Reverend Munawar Din. He came into talk to us about Christianity in his own country (Pakistan). We learnt about the two colours of the flag. The green represents the popularity and  of the Islamic faith, which is 97% and the white represents the minority of Christianity, which is 1.6%. We also learnt about one of his churches named Hunter Memorial Church in Sialkot. He showed the class pictures of the people worshiping in the church. We noticed that some people sat on the floor and some on chairs. Men and Women were separated. This also happened in Sunday School, but sometimes brothers and sisters were allowed to sit next to each other. We also noticed that their Bible's were read backwards and they had very thin paper, which is different to our Bible. At the end of the church service the Priest would say goodbye by shaking the hands of the men, but giving a blessing to the ladies.
